Hassan Abdel Hamid Independent Non-Executive Board Member
- Hassan Abdel-Hamid is an international banker with experience in Egypt, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Mr. Abdel-Hamid is currently the chief representative of Banque Misr, Egypt's second largest bank, in Italy since June 2019. He is also a non-executive board member and head of the audit committee of Misr Alexandria Fund for Financial Investments, an investment fund that that is jointly owned by a group of local and international private and public sector banks and insurance companies. Prior to that, he was chairman and managing director of Misr Asset Management, the investment bank arm of Misr insurance Holding Company, as well as non-executive chairman and head of audit of Luxor Marinas Company, and board member of Credit Agricole Egypt Bank. Mr. Abdel-Hamid has also served on the boards of Bank of Alexandria and Egyptian American Bank, and on the supervisory board of Al Chark Insurance and Misr Insurance Holding Company. He worked previously for Ahli United Bank, Barclays Wealth, Citibank and EFG Bank.
